Thanks for making AppKIDS 2011 a Great Success!

     Thanks to the generosity of the Appalachian State University community, AppKIDS 2011 was another success!

  • Your contributions raised $13,050 that went 100% to the needs of the children.
  • We provided 90 children with $145.00 each for essential clothing, coats, boots, shoes, etc.
  • We gathered 125 ASU volunteers to make the day a success!
  • AppKIDS was sponsored and assisted by the Chancellor's Office, Business Afffairs, the Broyhill Staff, the Boone Mall,  area businesses and...

Human Resource Services is holding two Information Sessions on ASU’s RIF Policy for SPA Employees

August 11 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm & August 16 from 9:00 - 11:00am

The purpose of these presentations is to educate employees on the ASU SPA RIF policy requirements and how the RIF policy will be applied among staff on the ASU campus. These presentations will feature:

  • What is a RIF/Layoff
  • How RIF employees are identified and selected
